Nectar plant for the Swallowtails, Monarch, Painted Lady, Red Admiral, Skipper

Location/habitat: well-drained soils, but very adaptable, floodplains, meadows, moist thickets, roadsides, drought tolerant, sun to part shade

Pinch in spring to reduce height and increase lateral breaks

*Plant with Verbena hastate-Blue Vervain

Height: 2-7’

Combines well with Blue Vervain, GOLDENROD, IRONWEED,
